Ace Packaging Company (Philippines), Inc. (APCI), was founded and incorporated in 05 August 1975 by its President, Melchor G. Apostol; Nila Apostol and Noni Crane of New York City in what was then Palos Verdes, Caloocan City, Metro Manila, Philippines.
It is a private enterprise engaged in the business of manufacturing, fabrication wholesale and distribution of corrugated and cardboard boxes with the secondary purpose of dealing in trade and manufacture of merchandise of every sort. One of these ventures was the mild steel and stainless steel equipment and general metal fabrication. By the end of the decade, it has gained considerable recognition in the Stainless Steel Food Processing and Cannery Equipment industry where majority of its revenue stream came from, gradually diverting into food processing equipment fabrication.
By the early 1980's, APCI has etched a name in the fields of Foods and Beverages Processing, Canning, Pharmaceuticals and Chemical Industries. Since then, up to the present time, it has been supplying most of the Philippines' biggest manufacturers in these fields with some of the finest industrial equipment to be found in the local market.
To become one of the best it can be in its field, APCI developed consulting relationships with several international consulting firms like NuCon Ltd., and Gea Niro PTE, Ltd. of Singapore and the Japanese Innoue- Nissei. With this development, APCI became one of the few local fabricators capable of carrying out projects for Nippon Paints Ltd., Wyeth Phils., and Mead Johnson.
The same exposure to such international firms has allowed APCI to gain international recognition securing a strong base of clientele in Asia, Pacific and the Atlantic regions. The Steam Jacketed Kettle was the primary food processing product that catapulted APCI to such recognition. In the mid-1990's, the United States Department of the Navy started using these same kettles as supplied to them by the U.S. Defense Department through Crimson Enterprises, Inc., a Boston based company.
With the Philippines' increasing industrialization, APCI adapted its line of services to meet the needs of the country's industrial and institutional clientele. At the start of the 1990's, APCI Industrial Division began to manufacture, install and maintain a new line of products and services including sanitary piping and steam line installation for processed products and mild steel tank fabrication for all types of industrial applications and APCI has ventured into research and development for food equipment such as pulp fruit extractor, milling and grinding machine and mango juice extractor, automated bottle liquid filling machine and many more. APCI has now the engineering capability to stage turnkey projects in the liquid line systems and powder handling systems.
Today, APCI still maintains the same quality and professionalism in the fabrication of all of its product lines. Throughout the years in service, APCI has grown to be choice of food and pharmaceutical industry leaders as their go to partner and to remain consistent and steadfast in finding mechanical engineering solutions to all its present and future clientele.
